Theoretical simulation of catalytic reaction; Theory and mechanism of catalysis
Prof. Shuanglin Qu (https://orcid.org/0000-0002-8122-9848) received his Bachelor degree in Applied Chemistry from Hunan Normal University (2010) and Ph.D degree in Physical Chemistry from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences under the supervision of Prof. Zhi-Xiang Wang (2015). He then joined Prof. Christopher J. Cramer’s group at University of Minnesota (USA) as a postdoctoral researcher (Aug. 2015-Nov. 2018). He started his independent research career as a full professor at Hunan University since December 2018. His current research activities include: Computational study of inorganic and organometallic catalytic reactions; Design of (organo)metallic catalysts for sustainable chemical processes; Modeling catalysis on polymerization; Theoretical characterization of small-molecule activation at transition-metal centers.
